MPS was selected to design and prepare the center-page full-color map for the Newport Harbor Guide 2008.  Published annually in the late spring, the Newport Harbor Guide serves the maritime community of Newport, Rhode Island, and is published for the benefit of the Seamen's Church Institute. Over the past 14 years, the guide has grown from a small one color pamphlet to a 56 page, full-color magazine with International circulation of 20,000.

The map was recognized at the NEARC 18th Annual User Conference held in Newport, RI and received an “Honorable Mention for Cartographic Excellence”
